Dear Families:
I hope this message finds you all well, and recovering from Christmas. I also hope it was a great time for all!!
Over the weekend, Willamette had a power outage, resulting in the boilers turning off, and not restarting. Result is the pool temperature dropped 15-16 degrees, from 81-82 normally to 66 this morning. Thus,
NO PRACTICE for today, 12/26
NO PRACTICE for seniors in the am on 12/27. This is just in case it isn’t up to normal.
There will be practice on Thurs., 12/27 in the pm’s for all scheduled groups - unless you hear from me.
Thanks, and enjoy the extra day off.

There was power outage at WU over the weekend and the water is too cold to swim…practice cancelled today for everyone….plan on practice tomorrow unless you hear from Al…thanks!
Dear Families:
Some updates for all to absorb or pass on.
1) Billing statements have been printed and distributed to folders as of today. Statements should be current through Friday - unless you put a check in my folder on Friday. Statements include billing for the ECSC Inv., Sr. Sectionals, and 2008 USA Registration ($49).
2) Congrats on the performances of our athletes these last couple weeks. We had a lot of participation and some HUGE time drops at the ECSC Invitational. Likewise, the seniors have been busy with their performances and best times at the Senior Sectional meet at MHCC and then this past weekend at the Oregon Senior Open in Corvallis. Congrats to all!
3) Have your athletes confirm their practice times with their coach. The only changes I know of are Coach Kate’s seniors and AG3. For all age groupers, there is NO PRACTICE on 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, and 1/1 - due to Christmas and New Year’s.
Travel safely if so doing, and have a great Holiday season!!

Hello Bearcats,
I have a pair of Bearcat warm up pants (size Small), a grey Lifeguard hooded sweat shirt and a grey/blue blanket (down-type) that were left in the stands at the Sheldon meet this weekend – I think from the morning session. Let me know if any of these belong to you or your children and I will bring them to practice.

Can anyone pass this on please. going through entries for cat I found a lot of swimmers who signed up for the meet don’t have times. Just a little encouragement……………. to Team! This weekend is really important for some swimmers trying to swim in the CAT meet in January. Some swimmers don’t have times for this meet but swimming fast at this weekends Eugene city meet could be a chance for you to get those times. Remember to talk to your coaches before each race to get important race tips and great strategy and remember to have fun and race hard!! Good luck team!! kate al kei gretchen smoke’em bearcatssssssssssss!!!
