Hi Randy..wanted to let you know that I went ahead and made reservations for senior sectionals and for 11 and over state at the comfort suites at the portland airport. this is a nice hotel as the girls and kate stayed there before flying to one of their meets. It is 100% nonsmoking and the rooms have 2 queen beds and a free breakfast. the best rate I could get is $98.99 plus tax…not as good as before. the reservations are for July 11-14 and July 26-29. They are being held on my credit card and will be released about 1 week prior to each meet. Please route this information to the club and my phone # is 503-743-4353 if they want to call and get a room….I have the confirmation numbers for both dates. Thanks…Kathy K.

With summer approaching, and a couple coaches changing their work schedule, we are forced to change some practice times. Feel free to pass this information on to those not on this list - as I’m sure this affects many of you/us.
Starting June 11 (this coming Monday) thru Aug. 3rd (we hope):
AG1 - 5-6pm, Tues/Thurs. AG2 - 6-7 pm, MWF AG3 - 5 - 6pm, M thru F Sr. Preps - 6 - 7:30pm, M thru F
Senior schedule is more complex: Mon., 6/11 and Wed., 6/13 - 4:30-6pm am’s starting 6/18, then become 6:30-9:00am, M thru F. Kate is giving the seniors morings off next week to help you prepare for your finals. pm’s starting 6/18 become TuTh only, 6-8pm.

Kate has Bearcat sweatsuits to try on for all who are interested in them. Adult sizes are available for $43.60 for the jacket and $26.50 for the pants. Youth sizes are $39.20 for the jacket and 24.25 for the pants. All orders must be in by the evening of June 14th.
Kate has been putting personal best time cards in the folders. Once a swimmer has 20 cards of one color, they can turn them into Kate and she will give the swimmer a plaque at the next awards banquet. The colors are: white is for Fly, yellow is for back, green is for breast, blue is for freestyle and red is for the IM. If you have any questions please let me know.
